Biography
When singers are losing their voices on the road, Mr. Sankowich is often called to save the day with his unique, time tested approach.  With clients known for consistently earning roles in in the professional world and reaching their goals, don't you think it's time that you work with a qualified teacher? Mr. Sankowich can help and has been crafting his art for more than 10 years through personal study, apprenticeship and the study of voice therapy at the University level. As a resident vocal instructor and consultant affiliated with professional theatre groups and academies, Mr. Sankowich has also had the honor of teaching as guest instructor at other voice studios training both their instructors and their students in his method. Mr. Sankowich also has experience mentoring and teaching those to work in this technique.
 
Gregory "Rocket" Sankowich is an industry-certified Vocal Teacher; handpicked and trained by Master Vocal Instructor, Nancy Vallerina. Due to his unique approach (Combining Speech-language pathology, Muscle Physiology as well as Standardized Pedagogy and his own research.), Mr. Sankowich has resolved numerous cases of stubborn voice, 'extreme' damage and provides his exercises to serious voice users who seek improvement; a method proven not only effective, but a standard for great technique. Mr. Sankowich works on unique body reflex that mirrors the cultivation of human language as a reason for the belief that ANYONE can sing.
 
Mr. Sankowich believes there is no substitute for excellence and comes highly reccommended by peer teachers and students of all skill levels. Ten years of formalized study regarding the theoretical and pedagogical, has led him to teaching masterclasses and presenting his research in vocal development as well as rehabilitative work for the damaged voice near and far. Within this decade, he has picked up momentum with clients ranging from professional singers in Broadway productions, Tours,  Off-Broadway and his teachings are  not limited to just singers! His 'One Voice, One Technique, ANY STYLE' is more than just a philosophy, but a MISSION STATEMENT. The technque can easily apply to actors, public speakers and those seeking a therapeutic technique that engages the voice wholistically.
 
Greg specializes in vocal diagnostics, tailoring vocal exercises to individual tendencies while delivering quality instruction to singers for overall vocal instruction.  He continues his research to provide the most effective techniques in building the voice.  In addition to continuing his education through the participation in industry associations, scholarly publications, professional affiliations, and personal study, Greg is grateful to have had the opportunity to have worked with singers on the production of many musical theatre productions as well as with the industries top voice teachers.
